How do I place an order?

You can place a Building Products order by visiting our online shop, or contacting our sales team by phone or email. We’re available 6.30am-5.00pm Monday-Friday. If you want to discuss your requirements in person, you can visit our Trade Counter to make a collection or book a delivery.

No, you don’t have to open an account to place an order or book equipment for hire.

If your requirement is a one-off or you rarely purchase materials, we only need your name and contact details to process your order. You can pay for your goods by cash, card or bank transfer (if ordering through the website you will need to use card). Your delivery will be booked in once we have received payment.

If you wish, you can set up a cash account. This facility is for both trade and non-trade customers with regular material requirements, who wish to receive special offers and extra support, but still pay at point of order.

Yes, anyone can open a credit account. If you wish to open an account, please download the application form below and either email or post back to us. Accounts are usually opened within 3 working days.

We can accept most major card providers including Mastercard, Visa Debit, Visa Credit, Maestro and Barclaycard. Unfortunately we can’t accept American Express cards.

We send out free sweets with every order over £100+VAT, and a free box of Kettle Chips with every order over £750+VAT.

How do I hire / offhire equipment?

Unfortunately we can’t take Tool & Plant Hire orders or offhires over the website yet, so if you need to hire or offhire equipment please get in touch on 01502 533999 or hire@onesitegroup.com. Our team are available 6.30am-5.00pm Monday-Friday.

We charge an equipment deposit with every hire, unless you have your own hire insurance. The deposit is a percentage of the machine value, paid at the start of the hire as security against the machine. Deposits are usually refunded within 48 hours of the equipment being returned.

No. We can offer advice on what will be required, but it is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure correct PPE is used.

We don’t offer insurance. Any equipment you hire remains your responsibility until it’s collected.

No, we don’t offer operated hire.

Where do you deliver to?

We deliver to any site, workplace or residential property within Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk. If you wish to place an order outside this delivery area, please get in touch to discuss your requirements.

Order up to 4.30pm for guaranteed delivery the next working day!

All products on our website are generally held in stock for next-day delivery. If for any reason we are unable to fulfil your order the next working day, we will let you know within an hour of ordering.

Please note we only deliver Monday-Friday. Orders placed up to 4.30pm on Friday will be delivered on Monday. Orders placed during the weekend will be delivered on Tuesday.

If you do not want your delivery to come the next/same day, please add a note in the ‘Order notes’ section of the Checkout with your preferred delivery date, and we will pre-book delivery for this date.

We can’t guarantee delivery at a specific time of day, but all of our deliveries are tracked, so if you need an ETA please call us on 01502 533999, any time from 7.30am on the day of your delivery.

Because our rounds are planned in the evening, we are unable to give a delivery ETA until the day of delivery.

All Building Products and Steel orders over £75+VAT are delivered free of charge. Orders under £75+VAT are subject to £10 carriage charge.
Hire equipment deliveries are usually subject to transport charges, please contact us if you need to check delivery costs.

You can return any stock product within 30 days from delivery provided the goods are in original condition (incl. packaging if supplied) and you can give us the delivery note number.

Goods collected from your site are subject to a 20% restocking charge. Goods returned to the Trade Counter are subject to a 10% restocking charge.
Non-stock items cannot be returned. Any non-stock items will be shown by a * at the start of the product description on your delivery note.

We understand that delivery in full, on time, is critical to keeping your site running smoothly. If you have received the wrong items, please contact us on 01502 533999 and we will resolve the issue as soon as possible.

Please note it is the customer’s responsibility to check items on delivery. We must be notified of any shortages or issues within 48 hours of delivery. After this we cannot guarantee to replace/redeliver incorrect items.
